At present, the equipment that can be used as emergency power supply includes ATS for automatic switching between two mains power supply, diesel generator power supply, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) power supply, battery power supply, EPS, etc. The application sites and advantages of the above equipment vary. ATS is also known as ATSE, is the abbreviation of Automatic Transfer Switching Equipment, national standard Chinese full name Automatic transfer switch, commonly known as double power Automatic transfer switch.
An ATS product is defined as an appliance consisting of one (or more) transfer switch appliances and other necessary appliances for detecting power supply circuits and automatically switching one or more load circuits from one power supply to another. Names of ATS, UPS, and EPS are confusing. EPS is the English abbreviation of Emergency Power Supply, the Chinese name is Emergency Power Supply device.
